Hi Guys

Something seems to have gone wrong with my NAS drive. Normally it is mounted on my desktop. Today when I turn my mac on it is not there so I go to mount it again by going to "connect to server" and select "media" and I get the error message "the server may not exist or be unavailable" so I tried to connect to it using its ip address which I can see in my router setting (192.168.0.8) but get the same error message.

Any ideas?

Try restarting the NAS and your Mac. Do you have any IP monitoring programme ? Can you see the NAS actually on your network ?
