Hey there, I have a seriously irritating problem.

There is a particular router that when I use with my Asus A3F windows laptop, I connect normally. So do the other 3 laptops in the house. However, when I'm on my Mac in windows it never connects no matter what.

What's the problem here? What's so different they are both windows. I have Bootcamp 2.1 drivers. Do I need to update anything or change anything?

PS : it's windows XP

Come on guys somebody help me :(

Windows can be a pain sometimes. Things work sometimes and other times they don't. I'd suggest doing the ipconfig /release and ipconfig /renew. Also try the Repair option in Network Connections properties. I have had Windows machines do this (not Macs) for no reason I could figure out and just fiddling with it eventually it worked.

I;m afraid that didn't work. Does the encryption on the wireless router have anything to do with it? Like if it's WEP or WPA..etc?
