After an upgrade of Snow Leopard, I can no longer connect to a wireless network w/ WEP or WPA. I had no problem before connecting to my own wireless router (Linksys) or my girlfriend's (D-Link), both w/ WPA.

I've googled this, but few seem to have my exact problem. Most people experience drops, but I cannot connect AT ALL. All I get is a 'Connection failed' message. I've tried changing the security to WEP with no luck. I've even done a clean install of Snow Leopard and the first thing I tried was connecting to my wireless network to no avail. Any clues? I believe I bought my Macbook around July of 2007.

So far I've downgraded my wireless network to filter on MAC address only, but as anyone knows this is a weak form of security. I'm about to travel and will need to use other wireless networks so I have to fix this problem.

I'm at my wits end and about to start from scratch and do a clean install of 10.5, but I'm hoping someone will have a solution before I take the leap. FYI, I've tried the 'remove/add new location' trick in Network Preferences, but it didn't do anything.
