i have followed all instructions on apples site, and look at other sources but i still cant get it to work:mad:

anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

but i dont know the password, when i installed windows i never put a password in so have no clue what it is??

You should probably change your password, but you can just create a new account for the shared files. Control Panel -> Users.

well on xp i am using the administrator account anyway,

i know put a password on that, but that didnt work?

i'll try another password and see if that works

EDIT:

i tried a new password and a new user account, still cant get the password for it!

the thing which i dont understand, is that if i am on the administrator account and change that password, surley that must be it???

what other password could it be reffering to?

i am using the connect to server thing in the finder, and i connect and all i need is the password, but it doesnt say what password?

anyone got any ideas?

Thank you

EDIt i restroed windows xp and it worked fine, so what ever the problem was its gone now :D
