About 5 months ago I purchased an Imac and a macbook. Along with a PC, all three computers have been running through our wireless router with no problems.
A few nights ago the iMac connection fell out and we cannot get it to reconnect (both the PC and the laptop are still OK wirelessly).
Firstly, It seems to be having trouble locating the network, and won't always show in the list of available networks. When it does show and asks for the password, it either says "connection timeout" (after about 3 secs) and can't find the connection. If it does find the network, it won't recognise the password.
We have turned the router on an off and restarted the iMac a number of times. We have also tried setting up the connect to our ISP again with no success. Over the course of all of these attempts we have been getting various warning messages - it couldn't find the outgoing mail server and also at time an error message about Airport not having an IP address.
Any suggestions would be greatly welcomed!
If you need more detail I can post the exact warning when I am home tonight.
