Am using the latest version of SL (10.6.8) with 4GB's of RAM. Sometimes during the night for some reason my Mac is kicked off the network and nothing can get it back on but a full reboot. I have tried to diconnect and reconnect WIFI, repair disk permissions, log in and out of my account, reboot my cable modem & my WIFI router (Netgear) and it does not work. There is nothing wrong with Charter as my iPhone & my roommates phone are able to connect just fine, so the problem is somewhere on the Mac, or perhaps a combination of problems. I remember having a similiar problem also with a WIFI router when I lived in a house with roommates whom all used Windows. Sometimes for some reason only the Mac got kicked off the network and a reboot was the only way to get it back on. That was in 2005 when I was using Tiger & also a Netgear router. Does anyone have any ideas what could be causing this?
