Hey,
I'm running 10.9 on my Macbook Air. When I try to check for updates it says there are no updates available and then it proceeds to give me an error message that says "can't connect to the software update server" and it also mentions that it can't connect to this particular server, which is an .edu address. I'm guessing that my old college pointed the software updates to their local server.
I'm wondering if there is a way to change it back to point to Apple's servers?
I already tried deleting the Softwareupdate plist, which didn't work. Also tried repairing disk permissions, which also didn't work.
Thanks.
