I have a 2nd gen Time Capsule running 7.6.4 connected to my cable modem. An Airport Express is connected via ethernet upstairs. Both are set to create a wireless network with the same name. For the last year it has been working fine. Devices connect to the closest router and speeds have been great.

In the last week or two, I noticed all devices switched over to the AE. Now I tried disconnecting it and nothing will connect to the Time Capsule. I have a Mac Mini connected to the TC with ethernet and it works fine.

Did the wireless antenna just die somehow? Airport Utility shows that the TC is running fine. Is there somewhere else I can go to diagnose the issue?

Try doing a factory reset of the Time Capsule.
