Can't connect to wireless after tiger reinstall

I reinstalled 10.4 on my other MacBook and now I can't connect to my wireless. I installed the 10.4.11 update and the Airport Extreme update, but I am still given the ever-so-helpful "There was an error joining the AirPort network "NetworkName"." error. Can someone smart please tell me how to fix this very annoying problem? Thank you.

I chose the wrong type of security. I changed it and it let me connect. I guess I was just too tired when I was trying to fix it. Although, after I connected it began disconnecting and reconnecting over and over about 50 times. I'm curious about that. Is there a log file somewhere for that sort of thing?
