Can't connect to Wireless on Macbook!

So, my macbook connected fine when I was up at college, but now I am on holiday break and ti can't connect to my signal at home.


OK, let me rephrase, it sees the signal, but i cant get on ichat or use safari, firefox, etc.

So you're connected to the network (filled bars in the AirPort Menu Bar), but can't get any internet action? Maybe create a new Location in the Network pane of System Preferences with a fresh set of proxy settings. Many colleges demand specific proxy settings which are incompatible with standard home network connections.
