I just got a new Wii for my birthday, and unfortunately I am not able to connect it to my airport extreme base station. Coming to think of it, my buddy brought a dell laptop over recently and I wasn't able to connect that to my network either (i just thought it was the dell back then). Anyhow, any ideas on what I can try to do to fix this problem? Thanks so much.

What settings do you have on your network? Is it b/g/n mixed? N only? What encryption are you using? I have a Wii connected to my AirPort Base Station network (AEBS and TC) with no issues whatsoever.

You need to make sure the AEBS is using 802.11g, not n. (Not sure if you can simultaneously use both...). The Wii only supports 802.11g. It does not support 802.11n.
