There are some apps that I've experienced that will not let you adjust the ringer volume even though i am not in the app anymore. for example on downcast, after i pause the podcast and go back to the home screen, the volume buttons are still set to adjust podcast volume rather then the ringer volume. The default music player (ipod) app does not do this and allows the volume buttons to set ringer volume as soon as i exit the music player app.
as a result, after exiting the downcast app, sounds such as keyboard clicks will become very quiet if i was playing the podcast at a low volume. I am having to force quit the app in order to get the system volumes to go back to normal.
I believe there are other apps that also exhibit this problem but I don't remember them right now.
is this a known issue?
