can't copy and paste....

hi all, I have a mac os 10.5.6 and a windows xp home ed in my home network. The mac seems to copy and paste without a problem with my windows 2000 pc. When I copy and paste a file from the windows XP to the MAC it gives me this message, " The operation cannot be completed because you do not have sufficient privilege for some of the items."

Help someone? Thanks all in advance....

Are you able to write to the directory in question? Sounds like a privilege setting? Is the file you are transferring over able to be read/write?

yupz, im able to write to the directory. Where can I check the privilege setting?

I just checked and it has the read/write privilege

heres an update to whoevers interested.....

I just used my wired connection instead of my wireless connection and then connected to my xp pc thru "connect to a server" and typing smb://IP Address...and was able to transfer files.
