Hi, I'm trying top copy a DVD I made in iDVD (from an iMovie HD project) on to my Pioneer DVD recorder, but it just tells me the format can't be copied. So far the Pioneer has handled any format I've thrown at it, so, knowing nothing about these things, I can't solve this one. Does any one have any ideas on this? Do I need some kind of convertor app?

Thanks.

I can't seem to copy any newer iDVD made DVD's lately as well - maybe some sort of copy protection scheme.

If you want another copy - looks like you have to burn another disc using iDVD.

Does using Disk Utility to make an image of the disk work? If you can get that to work, you should be able to burn as many images of the disk as you want. I really hope they haven't broken iDVD by placing some misguided copy protection scheme.
