can't decide 13 macbook pro i5 or i7

I am thinking to get a new 13 macbook pro, should i get i5 with 8gb or u7 with 4gb..I will be using mostly for video and photo editing...

The i7 is pretty much a waste of money, it's really not that much faster. Also, don't buy RAM from Apple, ever. That's also a waste of money. I'd suggest the i5 with 8GB of RAM from a 3rd party, which is about 75% cheaper when you buy online from somewhere like newegg.com.

I picked the i5 all my internet research said not to get the i7..

Get the i5. If possible, get one from Microcenter - they are $999 plus tax in-store.

You can also get a 750 GB hard drive for $59.99, or a Hitachi 750 GB 7200 RPM drive for $79.99 (beware the vibration from a 7200 RPM drive, though, in a 13").
