So I have an iPhone 4, that for the most of the time has been on 4.3.3. I've messed around a bit with beta 5 and 6, but I can't tell if it's just my perceptions or not that the betas are quicker than 4.3.3.

The seemingly snappiness of it and the awesome notification center are the main reasons I use it.

Wondering if I can get help deciding between which version to use, so to hopefully help you help me:

1. Is beta 6 really faster than 4.3.3?
2. Is there an ios 4 alternative to the notification center that looks as much like the iOS 5 one as possible?
3. Is it worth losing all my customization options to go to beta 6? (Sleep FX, Winterboard, BiteSMS, Double At, etc) or is there a way to get all that stuff working on there/alternatives?
4. Or instead of those aforementioned apps/tweaks, are there some cool things that I can use for iOS 5 to fill that customization/tweak void from iOS 4?
5. Anything else I should know?

Thanks everyone :)

Been going between both in my iPad and while 5 is buggy .... It's a lot nicer than 4 so ...

I downgraded after getting tired of the bugs .l.. But had forgotten just how slow 4 is and reverted back to 5

lol that sounds quite a bit like me. Minus the bug thing. Of what bugs are you speaking?

Are you a developer? And I'd go with 4.3.3...since iOS5 is BETA, and bound to be more buggy...
Not bound to be, B6 definitely still has a sack of issues. If you like Apple's typical it just works nicely and smoothly, stay away.

Non-Developers aren't supposed to have iOS5 betas which is why Apple bricked some phones that were on beta 4 and 5.

It is voted down by the way, not thumbs down.

Opinion: go to 4.3.5 and wait for official release of iOS 5 when its declared ready for all

Just few weeks ahead

Why go to 4.3.5?

Anyway Beta 7 is out; but still suggest you wait for GM or release.

Oh crap, didn't think it would be released yet. Is it any faster than b6?

Yeah I know that they don't want non devs to be using it, but I don't see why not. And my bad about the voted down thing. Had YouTube on the brain.
