Can't delete a book in iBooks, what the heck?

I got a book, a really awful one "Best jokes of 2014" (really just a bunch of ads for romance novels), for free off the store. I downloaded it and immediately deleted it but the cover is still there with a download from icloud symbol. How do i permanently get rid of it?

Try going into iBooks and tapping on the centered text (it's a drop down menu) up top in your Library (My Books). There you will see the option to hide iCloud books.
