Can't delete ANY apps?

I press and hold the Ryder Cup app and they all shake but no x's appear. Is this because USA blew the lead today and lost the cup or is my iPhone 5 behaving badly? (Same thing happens for any app)

In reality, you have restrictions set to not allow deleting apps. Settings -> General -> Restrictions.

Yeah, b/c he seemed so serious about that. BTW, it's an international golf tournament.

Wow, yes. After reading a post on here about securing a device in case it were to be lost/stolen, I did exactly that. Thanks for the reminder.
