Can't delete folder

Hi all,
I just got myself a MacBook. Totally new at this as this is my 1st Mac.

While trying to familiarize with the Mac environment, I created an empty folder. I can't seem to right click on the folder to delete it. I had to drag it to the trash bin.

When I did a right click, using the keyboard pad, nothing seems to appear. My guess is the right click is disabled.

Any idea how I can overcome this?

right click needs to be enabled I think. go to system preferences.

There's also the old and trusty command + delete to put the selected item into the trash, and shift + command + delete to empty the trash.

hi all, found out last night that nothing was disabled on my keyboard pad. I also found out that there's no right or left click on the keyboard mouse pad. There's only a single click. So the solution to do a right click is by pressing Ctrl + click.

Haven't purchase my mouse yet. Probably the mouse has a right & left click feature.

It's a struggle to get used to it at first, but I think not having a right click button increased my productivity.

I should have clarified I was referring to right click with the mouse. I use a mouse even with a laptop since I never got comfortable with trackpads.

In the trackpad section of system preferences you are able to enable a two-finger-tap as a right click. Easiest way my friends.
