can't delete garage band file

My daugter made a small tune using Garage Band. When the song got saved to her desktop, a file with the Garage band logo/avatar was created as well. She was able to delete the song file named Random Song, but the other file created named Random Song.Band will not delete and cannot be moved.

She would like to delete it from her Desktop and MBA, but is unable.

Any thoughts would be most appreciated.
