Can't delete music from iphone on ios7

Hi. Having a real problem with this. I can't delete any music off my iphone 5 after updating the os.

It says it's deleted in iTunes, and there are "zero items", but the phone is still full, and the music's still on there when I eject it.

What am I doing wrong?

I had this problem as well on my 5S. After I updated to 7.0.2 it seemed to fix itself. Just update. then sync with with music unchecked. Then resync your music and see if that helps.

Thanks for the reply - I have tried updating and 702 and it hasn't made any difference - I still can't edit the music in itunes. The *only* way i can see to get the music off is delete all 500 tracks individually...

edit - also, I don't have my music automatically synced. I do it manually.

Its now started deleting music while I listen to it. When I put it on shuffle it will start zipping through tracks deleting them. Think this might be the nail in the coffin for me when it comes to iphones. Kinda had it with them :-/
