So I can't find anything on MacRumors or Google about this bug, wondering if it's just me.
I have a Late 2012 Mac mini with the most recent Mojave Public Beta.
No matter what I do I can't disable requiring a password when returning from sleep or screensaver. If I unlock the pref pane, nothing happens when I press the "Turn Off Sceen Lock" button. If the pref pane is locked it will ask me for my password when I press the button, but again it resets back to default state.
Recorded a gif showing the behaviour.
