I thought the allure of portability would let me shell out $329 for a Mini. They would make great e-reading tablets and be much more portable for on-the go.

Too big for my pockets, so I can't see myself taking it out instead of my iPhone 5.

After using Retina iPhones, iPads and MBPs, the smaller text on the iPad Mini desperately needs it, especially when reading in bed.

After using an A6, it's a little too much to stand using an A5 again.

Great device next year I'm sure.

A regular iPad 4 it is. Nice display and faster than anything else.

Definitely would recommend the iPad Mini to ladies who carry a purse or bag with them at all times. And ladies who have not been spoiled by Retina or A6.

If the screen wasn't so bad, would have been a day 1 buy for me too.

I think older people and kids don't really care or get screen technology, so it might work for them without much issue.

Perhaps but then they may pick it up and realize that because has shrunk from the iPad 2, the text is smaller and they need to squint or hold it closer. Both of which would really benefit from retina.
