I tried to download 10.8 from the App store and this is what I got:

I have tried downloading 10.7 as a test and that seems to work just fine. But for 10.8 it just will not work. I have tried deleting the App store .com preference files and cookies and that didn't work. I tried downloading it in safe mode and that didn't work either.

Would anyone have a fix for this? As I really would prefer to download 10.8 via the App store. Being forced to download something I purchased legally, from an unethical source just because the App store is throwing errors at me is something I don't like honestly.

Does anyone have any idea on how to fix this?

[edit] I have the file on a backup hard drive (the "Install OS X Mountain Lion" file that is) but when I try to move it anywhere off that HDD, either to my iMac or another HDD I get this error:

So it looks like I can't move the file anywhere, and I can't re-download the file from the App Store. So what can I do?

[edit 2] I ejected the two external HDDs I had attached to the iMac and now it seems to be slowly downloading. Well hopefully this should work.
