Can't download 4.0.1 in itunes

Every time I try to update by downloading 4.0.1 it starts to download but then starts calculating up to 10 hours just to download 378MB. My internet speeds for everything else are fast.

I was having an issue with software updates for my mac too but I ran Applejack and it fixed that but this is still an issue.

Any thoughts??

Hmmmm. Maybe try downloading without the phone being connected. Or, try to download a free TV episode and see if it's also slow.

Or, just let it go for a while and see if it doesn't kick in. Latest iTunes update?

I am having the same issue. Been trying for days and on 2 different laptops. It stops downloading then I get an error message that the connection timed out. One of the laptops is a brand new MacBook Pro. I have very fast Internet speed. It's starting to piss me off.
