Can't download any files

Need more OS X help here.

Basically, I had downloaded Speed Downloader 5 to download some rapidshare files. Anyway, I don't want it anymore, so I removed it. Now I am not able to download anything through my browsers. I click on something to download, and it doesn't initiate the download. I'm guessing this is because before I uninstalled Speed Downloader, everything was being downloaded through Speed Downloader.

I guess all I need to do is somehow reset the default download method in OS X, but I don't know how to. Any help would be appreciated!

If I remember correctly SD5 has a Safari plugin as well. Did you forget to uninstall that? Don't remember the exact procedure there. Also, in the future try Download Queue, it's simple, slick and it does the job in an easier way than SD.
