Download Error:Disk was full (-34)

how do I make room on the disk for new content?

Cheers, John

Are you using a 1st generation Apple TV?

It's not the very first that came out - it's the one after that so yes I guess that makes it old.
Still, I never had any problems with it and we bought tons of stuff from iTunes. I had always assumed that the disk was always used to capacity but that as I ordered new shows, the oldest ones would get pushed off the disk making room for the new content. Until now that is and I have no idea of how to erase the disk. I thought a factory restore would do the trick but no, I'm still stuck.

I think Apple changed how it works years ago, there are numerous search result pertaining to that error. I believe you will need to use iTunes on a computer that is on the same network as the AppleTV to manage what is synced and delete some content to free up space.
