Can't download from clicking links

Hello All,

I used to be able to click a link and download it directly through the downloads folder. I tried to download my printer driver, and clicking it only resulted in endless page loading. I noticed that I have to right click the download button and save it to the download folder for it to work.

Do you have any idea how I could possibly make it back to download normally (ie: just left clicking link)
Its kind of annoying…

PS: its the same for Firefox and Safari.

I would suggest taking your MBP to an Apple store because they are generally nice and can solve most issues you are having.

Sounds like the encoding on the webpage is the culprit - I don't think it's on your end.

Try downloading something from another site. You might not get the same result.

Hi, thanks for the feedback.
I tried to download from another website (Gimp) but same results. It looks as if pop out downloads don't come up anymore
