Can't download Garageband IAP - Help?!

Hey guys, I really want to download the IAP for Garageband to get the extra drummers but I can't! I click I want to purchase in the app, then it asks for my password. I put it in, it says do I want to pay £2.99 - I say yes and put my password in again - it then opens up the app store where I am presented with a blank white screen! I've tried rebooting the machine, and reloading garage band loads of times

Is anyone else experiencing this? Any tips!?

Sorry to bump this three guys, but has anyone managed to download the IAP pack? Just so I know there is hope and I am cursed!

Thank you, your idea helped me solve the problem!

I tried to purchase a different app (to see if it let me) and the app store wanted me to answer some security questions as it said it was my first time buying an app on this computer (must be because of the mavericks update). Anyway, I bought the other app - and then went into garage band and the IAP downloaded without a hitch!
