Can't download Quicktime pro.. Help needed please!

I recently upgraded to OS X Snow Leopard, which has Quicktime player

And now I want Quicktime pro, to edit some Time lapse photography.

But it appears that i need Quicktime 7 to be able to get this?

But my system is not letting me Download quicktime 7 because I have Quicktime X

Please help me!

I really just want Quicktime Pro!

You'll find it on your 10.6 install DVD, in a folder (I think it's called Optional Installs).

I'm surprised that it wasn't preinstalled and set up to nag you to buy the Pro license. That's how Version 6 worked.
