Hi there,

I have having problems downloading on my macbook.

I have tried downloading the following

Thunderbird,
MSN mesenger
Audium
aMSN

and more.

I am getting the message "Safari can’t show the file “Thunderbird 1.5.0.8.dmg” in the Finder because the file hasn’t been created yet."

please can you help.

I am running OS X.

I am aware that outlook was not ment for this OS.

Thank YOu

By default, 'Safari' saves all downloaded files to the 'Desktop', until the user (via 'Safari's 'Safari, Preferences...' menu items' toolbars' 'Genera' panel) sets the 'Save downloaded files to:' popup menu to save the downloads elsewhere.

Check where your downloads are being stored and are you in a master account?

Bless

What prompts this message? Do you get it when the file has finished downloading? Have you tried resetting Safari from the Safari menu? Can you download other file types? :)
