iPod Can't drag album to my 2G shuffle.

I was pretty sure I could do this before but I've tried dragging and dropping an album to the shuffle icon and it wouldn't let me although the shuffle is empty! (space wise)

Anyone know why?

Funnily enough, it let me drag and drop from an album which only has 3 songs... Also, what's up with a window appearing and disappearing as if i'm operating the shuffle in disk mode although i'm not.

ahhh man..im so stupid..i forgot that the album was in lossless mode... urrghhh..

anyway, this still doesn't explain why a blank window (with my ipod's name on top - like it was detected as usb drive) keep appearing and disappearing ....

is it lossless or AIFF format? as I do not think the shuffle takes these
