Hey all,

Short introduction:

I'm gamehead200 - I'm new to the forums but frequently browsed them on a daily basis before joining for rumors and such. I'm a super moderator over at MSFN.org and would have posted my issue there, however, MSFN's mostly a Windows board, so...

Anyways, to my problem:

For the last couple of days, I haven't been able to drag any files over from my Stacks to the Trash; nothing happens. I'm forced to open the folder and drag it over from there or Apple+Delete it. I *might* have accidentally deleted a file (I don't remember which) causing this to suddenly happen and haven't been able to figure out how to fix it. It's more of an annoyance than anything else.

Any help would be appreciated. :)

Does this happen if you create a new stack and try and drag the files from there to the trash?

Does it still happen if you change the "View content as" option?

Try restarting.. Should work.. or log out and log back in.. Happened to me and it worked..

If not, try changing preferences on your dock to see if the problem starts there..
As in user>Library>Preferences>com.apple.plist
modify the name.. and save it somewhere first and restart..
Your dock might look different but you can just reset the settings u want with your dock.. Hope it helps..
