iPod touch Can't Drag music to iPod 3G

After foolishly upgrading to 4.0.2, I can't drag and drop music to iTunes (9.2.1.5). Yup, the option of manually manage music and videos in the summary is checked.. Not even once in the past year I used the sync thingy..

Opinions?
