Hello guys. I'm running OS X 10.6 on my MacBookPro Early 2011. And also have a windows xp pro sp3 pc that has a NTFS usb drive (Western Digital Studio Edition II 2 TB) that is shared over SMB.

On my macbook Paragon's NTFS for mac is installed. I can access all the files on the win xp machine and drives attached to it via usb ports. One thing that I cannot do is I cannot edit (delete, rename) files or folders that are not in the root folder.

As you can see in the attached picture I have all the permisions, read and write. The files are not write-protected. I can edit them in windows xp.

I'm using SMB protocol and AFS was also enabled. I tried disabling AFS. Nothing changed.

What do you thing may be the problem?
