Can't Erase my Disk using Disk Utility...

Just as the title states I cant erasy my main MBP hardrive because the optiones are no highlighted (meaning they cant be modified), how can I enable them so that the utility lets me erady my disk.

Booting from your install disk and using that disk utility will allow you to erase your main hard drive.
