I just turned off promotion to see what it was like, and holy h***… I can’t ever go back to 60hz. It was so terribly janky.

I can’t really tell the difference.
I could in the 13 Pros.
The AOD was rushed out. It’s still a work in progress I believe. I think Apple just took the 13 Pro’s Promotion programming and just dropped it by ten points to get 1 hertz and sacrificed at least 10 points at the top end if not more.
That would explain it to me right now. Maybe they could get the full spectrum to work later in the year in an update along with more options that should have been there from the get go!
