Hey - you can accept phone calls on your watch from regular landlines or cell phones. However, amazingly you CANNOT accept FaceTime audio calls or make them on your apple watch. That sucks.

You can ask Siri to FaceTime audio someone on your Apple Watch but then it asks you to use Handoff to push the call to your iPhone.

I can't wait until you can make and accept FaceTime audio calls ON the watch. It's so odd that it can make and accept calls from FaceTime - Apple's own medium. I'm just mentioning this because I've watched a MILLION reviews on the watch and read many and oddly enough not once was this mentioned.

this is why version 2 maybe 3 will have this.

I use FaceTime audio ALL the time. I barely make any regular calls. It's all FaceTime audio. So it is a tripping point for me.

I don't see what the technical difference is for the watch in making a regular call and a FaceTime call

I would love to do this, but I barely know anyone who does. Actually, I know no one who does. Even when I try to FaceTime audio call someone, they just see (and hear) it as FaceTime, and it gets declined. They assume it's a video call, because they don't know any better, and most people I know won't accept an unprompted video call.

It's quite annoying.

How can people miss the screen telling them it's a FaceTime audio call?
