Can't fast forward RMVB file

Hi all,

I tried to play the RMVB file i got online. I was able to use the Realplayer to play the movie, but for some of the movie under the RMVB, I wasn't able to fast forward/scan the movie. I wondered whether it's the software i am using or the movie is bad? please let me know... Thanks
