Hi.

I'm trying to learn some key commands in the apps I'm using. This one I've come across in Soundtrack Pro.

Its the <shift> key and then an arrow pointing up and to the left (about 11 o'clock)

I believe its called a 'northwest arrow'. I've looked and found it in the character palette but I can't find it in the keyboard viewer......even when I change the font to the one it says it belongs under.

This is begining to drive me cuckoo.

Thanks :)

Hi!

Does the symbol looks like this
attachment.php

It's the the Escape key.

In the Character Palette it's under Technical Symbols.

Hope this was helpful.

Thanks man, but no, thats not it.

Its just a plain arrow pointing upwards and to the left of straight up 12 noon.

Some key must be it. I just can't find it. :)

Nope, that ain't it. If it was that, I wouldn't have this problem. :D

Do you have soundtrack pro by any chance?

Look under edit > select > backwards

Alright, someone got it in another forum I'm on.

Its the Top (home) key. I also found it in the mac help just now (of course) after looking all over the place in books.

this may seem strange not knowing but this is my first new laptop and I never bothered learning key commands or symbols before except for rudimentary, open, save, copy, paste, print. I always used menus. :D
