Got a Intel MBPro, 10.6.2, with XP SP3 on VMware 3.x. All updates loaded.
Trying to get a BT-335 Bluetooth GPS logger attached. Did this once before in a different incarnation and had no problems. Do it now and I *cannot* find any reference to Bluetooth in XP's control panel. Tried a USB GPS receiver on the same port, cannot get *that* to go now either. Other USB devices OK on that port. VMware settings show Apple Bluetooth USB Host Controller is checked. Have loaded Boot Camp drivers from the OS X disk (strangely enough from Leopard. Not found on Snow Leopards disk).
Using mapping software on XP - have run it before very successfully but now no go. Am wondering if something is interfering with com ports or something, though cannot find if anything there is the problem.
Anyone has any ideas I be very grateful and maybe owe a beer or three
TIA
