Hi,

I am tring to print from my MBP over my home network to my Canon PIXMA MP830 multifunction printer which is attached to a PC via USB.

I have set up the network, and I can see the printer on MSHOME, and the drivers are installed on both machines, but when I choose the printer in the Printer Setup Utility, and then go to select the printer model, it's not there. I can print using a different model (eg BJC-7100 GIMP), but it's clearly not the right model / driver, as the print is faded. I've tried the other models available, but they either don't print at all, or print the page at half the size.

If I connect the printer directly to the MBP, it recognises it immediately, and prints with no problems, similarly if I print directly from the PC - no probs.

It appears I need to get a specific PIXMA MP830 driver into the printer model list. Any ideas how this can be done?

Thanks
