I've downloaded it several times, but I can't find it in Applications.

Note to Moderator: I can't get [timg] to work with Google Chrome.

EDIT: I found it! It's in System Preferences.
What do you guys have your fan speed settings at?

I set my speeds at default, because the computer is designed to and able to take care of itself with no intervention from me.

I dont' mess with the fans. I let the operating system do it as Apple designed.

Well, it looks like I'm stuck with it whether I like it or not. The app is not in the PreferencePanes folder and I don't have a StartupItems folder. I don't know where the app is to uninstall it.

"To completely remove the other FanControl software, follow these steps:
1. Remove the following files and folders (both on your start disk):
/Library/StartupItems/FanControlDaemon
/Library/PreferencePanes/Fan Control.prefPane
(You will be prompted for the Administrator’s password when deleting these items.)
2. Reboot"
