I have been looking to buy the iPad Pro WiFi + cellular (any color) in physical Apple stores, but none of the dozen Apple stores in Northern California have them. Has this model been released? Does anyone know what's going on?

iPad Pro Can't find iPad Pro WiFi+ cellular in Apple stores during Christmas week. What's the deal?

I'm in the Memphis, TN area and there are none in Apple stores near me. So, I ordered on the 25th, via Verizon and it shipped yesterday and it will be here tomorrow. Checking the carriers might be an option for you. My local Verizon stores didn't have it in stock either.
maybe just a late hot item? att stores are only available through ordering. I think apple probably just sold their stock before christmas.
I went to verizon on the 22nd and the had to order me one, it doesn't ship till the 8th.

Thats the color I wanted, but the gold was available sooner. So I picked that one. It will be in a case anyway, so it's no big deal.
Can't any iPad be added to Sprint? Why must you buy it from them and accept whatever they feel like sending you?
I've got mine on my same Verizon account and I bought specifically what I wanted from the Apple Store.
Oh, I think there was a misunderstanding. I chose my color. I was just saying that whether or not I choose gold or silver or space gray, it ships next week. They're all back ordered for whatever reason.
I had the opposite problem. In Toronto, every store had the WiFi + Cell versions but none of the WiFi only. I've always bought cellular iPads but now with easy tethering in iOS, it's hardly worth the extra costs. I ended up reluctantly getting the cell version.
I gotcha now. I misunderstood as they were going to send you whatever color they felt like. Still, no reason an iPad purchased from the Apple Store can't be added to your account on Sprint (though can't buy it on contract at an Apple Store if that's what you did).
