After some difficulty it seems as though iLife 06 is installed. Although I can't find iWeb anywhere. I did spotlight and nothing comes up for iWeb. How do I access iWeb?

Are your sure iLife '06 and not '05 is installed. If you start iPhoto and bring up the about box it should say iPhoto 6 version 6.0 (276). If it is version 5 (or lower) iLife '06 is not installed.

Are you sure you have iLife 06? If you bought it, it shouldn't have been difficult to install. If you installed from the OS X disk, then perhaps you did a custom install and didn't select to install iWeb. Try installing it again. ;)

A few things:

Is iWeb an option when you insert the disc?

Did you use the CD or DVD disc? iWeb may not be on both.

Did all of the other iLife apps install fine?

My retail version of iLife '06 only has a DVD. If you want CDs you have to return the DVD to Apple and pay shipping for the CD(s).

iWeb - Where are you?

Everything else installed properly. I was surprised that anything installed at all because it said that there were errors durring the installation and for me to install again. It said that each time I tried to install it. I used the DVD to install it. I checked my applications folder and everything from iLife 06 is there except for iWeb.

Put in the DVD again, run the installer and select Custom Install. Uncheck all the boxes apart from iWeb, install, and see what happens . . . ?
