Guys, I need to re-install the MPEG2 Component from the Final Cut Studio DVD.

But I just can't seem to find the PKG installer.

I've gone to the Finder's Go menu - Go To Folde and entered /Volumes/Final Cut Studio/Installer/Packages/ BUT I get "the folder can't be found message.

What, if anything, am I doing wrong?

I think the MPEG2 component is part of the DVD Studio Pro installer, maybe also Compressor.

Yes, with FCPS, you get the the mpeg2 codec and QuickTime automatically registers as QuickTime Pro.

Pacifist is the easiest way to just grab the mpeg2 component and install it.
