Mavericks seems to have hidden my color profiles that I'm trying to copy to prevent having to re-profile my display when I do a clean install.

I've tried enabling hidden files, but still don't see anything in the ColorSync folder, where the profiles supposedly are (according to ColorSync utility). This is really frustrating. Any ideas?

look in the user directory also. sometimes profiles are written to individual user accounts and sometimes they are written to the main system library. its a good idea to keep copies of your custom ICC profiles in your own specified folders so that you can easily copy them into the library whenever needed. also, certain calibration tools like the Datacolor Spyder Express have a tendency to overwrite their profiles to make sure you only get one calibration out of them at a time. I've found that you have to open those profiles up in colorsync and save-as to a new file before that overwrite will be cancelled out. So i usually end up copying and saving a few in different folders to get around that, at which point its worth just keeping them in a folder that you've created for future use.

You will find your personal color profiles in the user folder below. Open Finder then hit shift-command-g (all there keys at once) and paste the line below in the popup and enter.

Code:
~/Library/ColorSync/Profiles
