Yesterday i made a textedit file and i put my computer to sleep over the night. I opened it and itunes crashed and i can't find the textedit file anywhere. What happened and is it still in my computer?

Did you save it before going to sleep? And if so, did you save it as .RTF or .TXT file? Have you used Finder > CMD+F to search for it?
Are you on Mountain Lion? If so, try just reopening Textedit and it should be there.
I'm completely positive that I saved it. And i just opened textedit, it just asks if i want to make a new document.
