when i tried installign diablo2 i got a error message reading...
"Classic cannont find a MacOS 9 system folder on the startup disc. you may need to install Mac OS 9.1 or later on your computer."
the last time i launched classic is before i reformatted the harddrive. how do i do what the error message reads?

If you didn't reinstall OS 9 after your formatted, then put in your software restore CD and reinstall it.

What restore CD are You reffering to? the OS X install or the actual System Restore CD? And by the way, I like Your Sig
 
The system restore CD, it should be like a grayish DVD most likely. There should be an installer package on there that takes you to this menu screen with a list of all of the pre-installed software that came with your computer. There will be check boxes next to them so that you could check which ones to install and Classic should be one of them.
