Cant find terminal

went to apps>utilities but its not there.. also searched in spotlight but cant find it there either.. what can i do?

Open Finder and search for "terminal", then click the plus and add the criteria: "Kind is Applications"

If you have renamed it, it will be whatever you have named your internal hard drive. The icon for it is usually located on your Desktop.

i have it on my desktop but not on finder.. when i go into "Macintosh HD" i still cant find terminal.. could it have gotten deleted?

Well, it's certainly possible. You can use Pacifist or iTerm as this thread discusses.
